Happy New Year! Buon Anno!

We started the year in a very serene mood. We had had weeks of feasting and celebrating with friends and family and we were ready for a little peace, quiet, and maybe some gentle exercise! On a beautiful blue sky day a stroll along the Cedrino River from the bridge to the Marina of Orosei is hard to beat. The sun was shining in its gentle winter way and it was cool enough for a sweater as we started out.

The walk is about 2 km and is paved until you reach the marshes close to the marina, then it turns to gravel, but it is still gentle and easy going. We made it to the marina and back in time to have a nice aperitivo before a light lunch. A lovely way to spend the beginning of a new year.
